If you have any questions about something that isn’t listed, please email us at Hello@SimplyUniqueMarket.com. General Contract / Terms & Conditions
(These terms & conditions apply to all markets)
Setup, Check In & Unloading Info
Please refer to each specific market above for more details about setup days and times. Closer to the event (approx two weeks before market) we will email out final setup instructions along with any other final market details. This will include setup times (they may vary slightly from above), the check in process, loading/unloading info, tentative layout, etc. If you have specific layout request, please email those to Hello@SimplyUniqueMarket.com at least three weeks prior to the event. We try our best to accommodate request but can’t guarantee.
Booth Area & Presentation (Indoors & Outdoors)
All booth spaces are 10×10. If you are outdoors with a tent, a minimum of 30lb of weight is required on each tent leg! There is zero exceptions to this! If we deem it a hazard if you don’t have the proper weights, we may ask you to take your tent down or take it down for you if left overnight. Outdoors you must have a canopy type tent but it can be any color you would like. Each venue has a different policy on tents being used indoors. We email out closer to the event about those details. No tables or chairs are provided at any market so please have your own setup. Any and all garbage must be taken with you and disposed of. You may not sublease your space to anyone else. There’s also no sharing of a booth. The only people allowed to sell or display in your area are those whose names are shown on the registration. We ask that no one leave their booth unattended. If you need to use the bathroom or grab food, please ask someone to watch your booth for you. One of our staff would be glad to watch it for you.
Takedown & End Of Market
There are no early takedowns allowed until the market is over at 4p. If you begin taking down early, you will not be allowed to participate in any future events. We understand that each event is a long day but customers who come at the end deserve the same experience as those that came when the market first opens. There is also ZERO vehicles allowed to be drove around the market area or grounds until we say so. This is for safety. If any vehicles are driven within the market footprint prior to approval, you will not be allowed to participate in any future events. Closer to the market we will email more detailed pack up and leaving instructions.
Food Trucks & Trailer Spots
For those of you with food trucks or a trailer spot, there is no power or water provided at any markets so please make sure to have your own generator if power is needed. If you plan on setting up a tent along with your trailer, you will need to purchase a 10×10 spot also. Food truck and trailer spots are only for those selling from their trailer/vehicle.
Food Vendors
Food may only be sold by pre-approved vendors. All food vendors must follow the Michigan Cottage Food Laws or be licensed. We do require all food vendors (both cottage food and licensed) to carry insurance. Please make sure to make a note on your registration form if your booth includes any sort of food items.
Insurance
We are not responsible for any of your items due to weather, lost, stolen, vandalism, damage, acts of god, etc. We are also not responsible for any injury, bodily harm or death. You are responsible to carry your own insurance and have a copy of it at every market.
Severe Weather
In the event of severe weather, we may decide to postpone the market and move to a future date or worst case scenario, have to cancel that event for the year. If this happens, you are automatically into the new market date or the market the following year. If for some reason you cannot make the new date, your money will be applied to a credit on your account with us. This credit never expires and can be used for any Simply Unique Market that we do. This information will be communicated via our Facebook vendor page, email or text message.
Cancellations
We do not provide refunds if you are unable to attend or you cancel an event. If you cancel and the event is more than 60 days away, we will then credit any money paid to a future event. This credit must be used within 3 years. If you cancel within 60 days of a market, you unfortunately will not receive any credit to a future event. If you do not show to a market without contacting us prior to the start of the event, you will be removed from any future markets you already paid for without a refund. You also will not be able to participate in any future Simply Unique Markets or any other GLP Events.
Covid Policy/Governor Orders Policy/Circumstances Out of Our Control
In the event a market has to be canceled due to a COVID or similar health situation, Governor orders or any other circumstances out of our control, everyone that has already paid for the market will receive a credit towards a future market of their choice. This can be any Simply Unique Market or any other event put on by GLP Events. The exception to this is if the business is no longer allowed to operate within one year of the circumstances that caused the markets to be cancelled.
Customer Raffles & Giveaways
We will be doing giveaways to all of our markets on social media. If you are interested in participating in our $10 gift certificate giveaway, please let us know at least 30 days before the market. The $10 you donate you don’t get reimbursed for. We will also give out Market Money ourselves to customers. If you get receive this market money, we will reimburse you at the end of the market for it. More details will be emailed out closer to the market. This is a great way to get your product in the customer’s hands and to help promote your business.
Advertising
Everyone wants to see all of these events become a success and with that, we need your help with advertising. With each event having over 100 vendors, we ask you all to please help out with promoting the events. The more people that everyone brings in, the more successful everyone will be. We have Facebook, Instagram & Tik Tok that we use. So make sure you are following us on all social media and sharing (all links will be posted below). We also promote our events in newspapers, flyers, paid social media, Google, billboards, Michigan event websites, street signs, mailings, banners and more. If you need copies of flyers or anything else, please ask us and we will provide them.

Goals of the Show
Each person has a different goal for the shows that we do. One thing that we highly recommend is to have fun and always stay positive. Some shows you may have great sales, other shows your sales may be slow. One thing we let everyone know is to make as many contacts and connections as possible because that is the main purpose of these shows. To promote your business and make contacts which help you sell more outside of the show. Our staff has a great sales history and will be glad to help answer any sales questions you may have.
